There are several genres of music in this world. Music is basically a universal language understood by each and every human being. Music though a general term comes in different types and different varieties. The many genres of music originated from different parts of the world since historic times. One of the most fascination genres of music is the Reggae music genre. This genre of music was mainly originated in the land of Jamaica. The Reggae music originated during the late 1960. Most of the music that is played in the land of Jamaica is referred to as the Reggae music for its unique tone and sound. Reggae was not a new genre that is it was not created, it was actually developed from existing music styles. The style of music originated from the other genres of music namely the Ska and the Rocksteady music type. The Reggae music though consists of its own unique styles and sounds. When reggae was introduced as a type of music, it became a new sensation. The older and traditional types of music were replaced by this Reggae music. Since the land of Jamaica was inaccessible by means of radio, the songs were not known until early 1970. Reggae music then swept the world with its unique sounds and style of the Jamaicans. The Reggae music brought about a new change in the way the music was played. The Reggae music became an instant hit with people all over the world because of its heavy rhythm of music.
